Boa Eat You Up Full Version

This week, 3 possible album pictures as well as the full version of Boa’s song, “Eat You Up”, were uploaded to her myspace account.

Foregoing the questionable lyrics, other than the beat, there was nothing spectacular about her song. She still retains a strong accent thus losing the clarity and strength most American artists have and the techno whine, which was probably used to mask any pronunciation errors, only served to emphasize them.

Overall, unless Boa’s other tracks are much more clearly enunciated and have a lot more vocal strength, another Se7en seems to be in the making. The chances of her making it in the American industry relying only on her performance skills and her Asian fanbase, seems slim. To compete in a market where the Koreans have to use choreographers that were utilized by other top American singers, only signifies lack of confidence and originality.

Rain new CF

It was just a matter a time before Rain did a CF for the “Thinking by T” (loose translation) ad campaign for mobile service provider, SK Telecom. Following in the footsteps of another CF king, Jang Dong-gun, Rain acts all cute by pretending to be in a sauna while his friend calls him via video phone-but what he is really doing is eating steaming hot ramen.

I smell a series of SK Telecom CFs of Rain.

Hari Raya's holiday is almost over so its time to pack our school bags and go back to school.How sad cuz its been only a week of holiday and after this holiday I shall be starting my revision.Ah!!!!!!!!!!! so stress!!!!!!!!! This model turned actor is very private about his personal life. Fans figured this out early on, so they keep themselves entertained by making their own news related to Joo Ji Hoon. How clever! The most recent news I found was about the JuGal (Joo Ji Hoon Gallery) contest at dcinside.com. Basically, if you are an active member of the gallery (answering quiz questions, posting comments, etc), you win yourself the chance to win fan-made prizes, all related to Joo Ji Hoon. There are stationaries, notebooks, t-shirts, towels, bags, etc all with Joo Ji Hoon’s picture on it. I must say, these fans are the most well-behaved die-hard fans out there. Joo Ji Hoon must be proud!

Rain New MV-Love Story Teaser 1

Magic Feet is back!

Not that the news of Rain’s return to the k-pop scene is anything new, but its officially official with the release of his new teaser video, entitled, “Love Story”. Ha Ji-Won also stars in the music video.

This will be his first album under his new company J Tune Entertainment. Magic Feet is actually using his brain for once. He has cleaned up very nicely by getting rid of the ajumma hair style. However, with younger rivals such as DBSK and Big Bang behind his back, he’ll have to keep on his toes to even think of competing with them. I guess coming back to Korea and speaking his native tongue has helped him regain some of his brain cells.

Our Magic Feet has a busy schedule coming up as well, with his new special debuting on the 10th, on M.Net Countdown on the 16th, and performing at the Lotte Family Concert 2 days later…it seems we are going to be seeing much more of the shrimp-eyed wonder.

In the end of the teaser, somehow once again Rain ends up bloody. Oh well, rather this then those nasty pictures from Ninja Assassin floating around the internet.
